JOSHUA YOUNG, MD

OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Dr. Joshua Young, M.D., is a Harvard-trained ophthalmologist and Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU Langone Health.  He is board certified in ophthalmology and he has completed sub-speciality training in cornea disease at the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary.  Dr. Young has authored multiple peer-reviewed papers and abstracts on computer analysis of ophthalmic disease, nano-physics, and ophthalmic education. He is winner of the Ambraham Schlossman award for Surgical Teaching and has been invited to speak about ophthalmic education at Keio University in Tokyo and at The World Ophthalmic Congress in Hong Kong. Dr. Young is also the producer of podcasting for the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.  When he's not in the office, he enjoys exploring novel coffee roasts and reading science fiction.  Dr. Young is excited to meet you and provide you the best eye care in New York!

JONATHAN KAHN, MD

OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Dr. Jonathan Kahn, M.D. is an ivy-league educated ophthalmologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU Langone Health. He is board certified in ophthalmology.  He is also an internationally recognized medical journalist. Dr. Kahn was awarded the prestigious Super Doctors Top New York Rising Star recognition for his excellence in clinical care, as well as being recognized by NYU as Clinical Teacher of the Year. He specializes in comprehensive eye care, microsurgery of the eye, cornea disease, cataracts, glaucoma, and contact lenses. He provides fantastic care to his patients, from the most basic of eyeglass or contact lens prescriptions to advanced surgeries for cataracts, cornea, and refractive corrections (such as LASIK/PRK). Dr. Kahn earned his M.D. degree at Northwestern University and studied biomedical engineering at the University of Pennsylvania. He trained as an ophthalmologist at NYU and pursued a sub-speciality fellowship in Cornea & External Diseases at Tufts Medical Center / Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston. Dr. Kahn has published over a dozen scientific papers and chapters on vision research and has presented ground-breaking studies at numerous national and international meetings. His current research interests include sustainability in cataract surgery and ophthalmic side effects of novel anti-cancer medications.  When he's not in the office, Dr. Kahn enjoys exercise with his puppy named Niles and exploring new cuisines in the five boroughs.  Dr. Kahn looks forward to meeting you and offering you the best in care for all of your eye needs!

JOEL SOLOMON, MD

OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Dr. Joel Solomon, M.D. is an ivy-league educated ophthalmologist and Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU Langone Health. He is board certified in ophthalmology. He specializes in comprehensive eye care, corneal disease, dry eye, and cataract surgery. Dr. Solomon brings 35 years of experience to patient care. Dr. Solomon served for 20 years as the Director of Quality Improvement at the NYU Langone Medical Center and currently serves as the Chief of Ophthalmology at the Manhattan Veterans Affair Medical Center. Dr. Solomon earned his M.D. degree at Cornell University and trained as an ophthalmologist at NYU. In addition, Dr. Solomon completed a sub-specialty fellowship in Cornea & External Diseases at Medical College of Wisconsin. When he's not in the office, Dr. Solomon enjoys reading science fiction, exploring new cuisines, and is an avid scuba diver.  Dr. Solomon is eager to meet you and to extend the best individualized eye care to suit your standards!

ANAM QURESHI, MD

OPHTHALMOLOGIST

Dr. Anam Qureshi, M.D. is a board certified ophthalmologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at NYU School of Medicine. With extensive experience in the field, Dr. Qureshi specializes in refractive cataract surgery, dry eye disease, keratoconus management, and bladeless LASIK/PRK procedures. Dr. Qureshi earned her M.D. at Jefferson Medical College and completed her ophthalmology residency at New York University, where she also served as Chief Resident. She pursued advanced fellowship training in Cornea, External Disease, and Refractive Surgery at Emory University. Dr. Qureshi has authored notable papers in keratoconus progression, femtosecond laser cataract surgery, and LASIK flap creation. She has been recognized for her work in developing innovative didactics and hands on training courses for cataract surgery. In her free time, she enjoys travel, indulging in the NYC food scene, and playing tennis.  Dr. Qureshi is committed to taking the time to provide personalized care for each patient and their specific goals. She looks forward to welcoming you to her practice and providing you with the highest standard of care for all your eye health needs.
